If you are a first time builder or an experienced professional you know the value of building your instrument on a solid foundation. The Custom Shop ST style body is beautiful, high quality and made to spec. The Mighty Mite neck is manufactured under license by Fender. The materials and quality level meet the standards set by Fender. Using these high quality materials will give you the sweet tone and sustain the Strat is known for.

The Mighty Mite neck is made from Canadian rock hard Maple with the famous Walnut "skunk stripe" on the back. Your choice of a Rosewood or Maple fingerboard. And the option to upgrade to compound radius! The truss rod is adjustable at the headstock for easy setup. The neck is finished with a semi gloss finish. You can choose to upgrade to a neck made right here in our Custom Shop if you want more options. See our ST Style neck for all your options.

This kit allows you to mix and match the pickguard and pickups. Choose your pickguard color and upgrade your pickups if you want. The pickguard will be pre-wired with the pickups of your choice. No need to figure out the wiring, it's all done!
The standard pickups that come with this kit are BYO's own Storm pickups.
Storm - Vintage Strat wind delivering classic tone of late 50's. Warm, smooth tone. Prominent mids, clear and glassy highs and solid bass response.

These are built stock with staggered alnico 5 magnets, and vintage spec heavy formvar wire. Grey fiberboard flatwork for a vintage look. The middle pickup is RWRP to achieve hum-canceling in positions 2 and 4.
