These kits are self-levelling leaving a smooth finish. They have in their mix an amount of classical oil based lacquer. Vintage yellow option incorporates our Goldenrod tint. Vintage amber option incorporates a tint made up from 50% Goldenrod, 50% Burning sun and will give that nicely aged look after only 2/3 coats. The classical oil based lacquer added to these kits makes them ideally suited for use on denser woods such as maple. They are fantastic at highlighting any special features in the wood such as flaming, birds eye maple.
