If you are a first time builder or an experienced professional you know the value of building your instrument on a solid foundation. The WD Music Finished body and neck are manufactured under license by Fender. The materials and quality level meet the standards set by Fender. Using these high quality materials will give you the sweet tone and sustain the Fender Strat is known for.
The unfinished bodies are made from BYO from 2 or 3 piece swamp ash, or you can select a finished body from WD Music. WD Music bodies are made from Alder with a beautiful color and clear poly clear coat for a long-lasting, durable finish. The Finished body is routed for three single coils like a traditional Stratocaster® and a standard tremolo system as used by Fender.
The neck is made from Canadian rock hard Maple , your choice of a Rosewood or Maple fingerboard. And the option to upgrade to compound radius! The truss rod is adjustable at the headstock for easy setup. The neck is finished with a semi gloss finish.
This kit allows you to mix and match the pickguard and pickups. Choose your pickguard color and pickups you want. The pickguard will be pre-wired with the pickups of your choice. No need to figure out the wiring, it's all done!
