Staggered polepieces with chamfered ceramic magnets. Chamfering the polepieces focuses the magnetic field giving good highs but still allowing some mids to come through to stop the pickup sounding thin. Middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity. Bridge pickup
is slightly overwound for better balance.
