Padauk electric guitar body blank.
This wood is bright orange when you first cut it. To keep the wood this color, you’ll need to use a finish that includes a UV inhibitor. Otherwise, it will eventually turn a brownish hue similar to walnut. Padauk is strong, stable, not too expensive, and has a clear tone similar to maple.
Each blank is kiln dried and sanded to 120 grit. End grain has been sealed to prevent splitting.
